At a very difficult time when we had been mislead when purchasing a vessel, on a Harbour Masters recommendation I requested Dale's attendance. A complete and thorough comprehensive survey of my boat was undertaken, and his findings were promptly discussed. Dale was professional and friendly throughout our conversations and has expert knowledge. He also went the extra mile to ensure that he had covered all areas that would need attention, as well as providing me with additional tips for boat maintenance and renovations. Therefore, for these reasons I would highly recommend Dale.

Dale is a conscientious individual who takes pride in his work. He is always willing to assist and offer advice based on his extensive knowledge of the maritime sector. Dale worked for me as a contractor for one of the UK's leading ports delivering survey and inspection expertise on a contractual basis for the organisation, and proved to be both efficient and effective in delivering what was required in a courteous manner, whilst maintaining customer focus. Dale has a sense of humour and is easy going, however is also able to maintain his level of professionalism in order to get the job done, and it was a pleasure working with him.

Jason Rudd - Marine Engineering Superintendent - Port of London Authority

Dale started contracting to us in 2011 as Master of the "Conwy Bay", one of our 18m wind farm service vessels, although in more recent times he has been in command of some of our larger vessels working over in Europe. Dale has an in-depth knowledge as a Master along with good technical skills. Since working for the company Dale has gone from strength to strength and developed his role considerably. Due to his competencies and skills for passing on his own knowledge he is now one of the fleet qualified assessors. This role sees Dale train potential new Masters in line with the companies in house training manual and also based on the best practise guide by the NWA. Dale has now completed many assessments leading to several new Masters becoming part of the team. Dale is a very competent Master and has become a valuable member of our team.

Whilst Mr. Bradley brought a great deal of experience to the course he quickly demonstrated that he was able to understand and evaluate new surveying situations he had not previously encountered. He clearly has extensive knowledge of commercial vessels and their operation, and is fully in tune with current working practices in terms of legislation etc. In my view his practical experience of operating such a diverse range of commercial vessels in demanding conditions gives him a valuable insight into the safety culture every surveyor needs to understand. I would have no hesitation in relying on Mr. Bradley and his judgement.

I am the Harbour Master and Marine Operations Manager for the port of Ramsgate and have known Dale for four years. Although Dale has never been directly contracted to the harbour for his services, I am aware of his involvement with both London Array Ltd. on the ‘London Array’ wind farm and Vattenfall on the ‘Thanet Offshore Wind’ wind farm projects for both construction and ongoing operations and maintenance activities as Master of fast crew vessels. Dale additionally operates a commercial charter service from the Port of Ramsgate, Galleon Cruises. Dale approaches all aspect of the aforementioned activities in a competent, confident and commercial manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to you for consideration as a member of your organisation.

We have used Marine Sea Services on a couple of occasions recently and found them very thorough. They are prompt, reasonable in price and write reports that are clear and factual. Due to some complications with our recent purchase Dale was on hand throughout the whole process, This made the situation less stressful and has given us great confidence in our investment.

I have used various Boat surveyors over the past 26 years, mostly ticking the boxes and charging accordingly. My recent survey for my insurance renewal, I was recommended to Marine Sea Services Ltd. I attended the survey with their main surveyor Dale Bradley, a very energetic and a thoroughly proficient attitude . The survey was very en lightning , Dale was like a ferret in a rabbit hole. The survey was very much based on the safety and the Integrity of the boat, not the cosmetics. He managed to locate two external outlet valves I was not even aware of, one of them open to the sea just above the water line!!
I would use and recommend Marine Sea Services Every time

Marine Sea Services provided a post-restoration insurance valuation for my small vintage launch. My original enquiry was responded to within 1 hour and because of the straightforward nature of the work, the survey inspection was carried out within 2 days. The inspection was thorough and included basic maintenance advice. The report was available within a further 24 hours. I am very pleased with professional, efficient and extremely prompt service provided by Dale Bradley.
